"American Gods"
By: Neil Gaiman

I got the addition of "American Gods" with the bonus material, including the novella "The Monarch of the Glen", and the version of the main story that was edited/updated by Neil Gaiman since the first version was published. I did really enjoy this book, it's significantly well done and has a surprisingly simple plot given the length of the book and the themes. It doesn't feel too long or padded in any way and the plot twists do not feel like they telegraphed or given away at all, without coming out of nowhere.

The only problem I had with "The Monarch of the Glen" is that it's very short for a novella as its more short story length rather than novella length. It would have been nice to have a longer story involving Shadow that is separate from the main book.
