I was mildly disappointed in this book as there were not as many short stories in it that I enjoyed as there have been in their other collections, and there was only one story – “Sympathy for the Bones†by Marjorie M. Liu – that really stuck out as being particularly memorable. There was also one story that started out wonderfully but pulled the old “it was a dream!!†ending which, to put it bluntly, pissed me off no end, especially given how much I’d been enjoying that particular story up to that point in time.
