"Joyland"
By: Stephen King

Again in some ways this isn't a standard Stephen King book in that the horror or supernatural aspects are very much in the background in this book when compared to his other books. There is the ghost of a murder victim, whom the whole plot revolves around and unlike a lot of other standard crime books it is made clear that the ghost is real.

I really enjoyed this book, to the point that I was disappointed that it is very short when compared to a lot of his other recent books - it's only 283 pages long not his more standard 400/500+ paged books. Though I am seriously biased, as I'm a massive Stephen King fan :)
