"Night Shift"
By: Stephen King

"Night Shift" is Stephen King's first collection of short stories and one of his best. Unlike most collections of short stories, there was only one story in this collection that I didn't like. It just happened to be the first one "Jerusalem's Lot", which is one of the few stories in this book that hasn't been published anywhere else.

There are also two stories that are very similar to "Christine" about various machines coming to live in different ways, though both are radically different from each other. And there two stories based around Jerusalem's Lot – of course leading to his book "Salem's Lot".

I did really enjoy this book despite not liking the first story.
